Softball at the CACC Tournament - Day 2

The Wildcats advanced to their second CACC Tournament Championship game in three seasons by defeating Holy Family, 9-2, in the winner's bracket game on Friday. The Wildcats scored five timesi n the first three innings after the Tigers took a 1-0 lead. Taylor Rizzotte and Becca Stanley collected two hits each while Stanley led the team with two RBI. Freshman Caitlyn Whiteside came on in relief and pitched the final four innings for the win. The Wildcats will face the same Tigers on Saturday for the Championship.
