Seventy-nine (79) student-athletes on Wednesday were named to the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Softball All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. Twelve (12) of the 13 CACC schools that compete in the sport were represented on the All-Academic Team.

Kylee Gunkel was magnificent in the circle once again for the Wildcats, as they defeated Georgian Court, 5-0, to advance to the NCAA DII East Region 2 Final on Saturday out of the winner's bracket. Jess Reed had two RBI in the game and Haley Downin had two doubles. Downin and Sara Miller had three hits each in the win. Gunkel improves to 21-5 on the year, breaking the WilmU single-season wins record in the process.
