Tristyn Stewart took the first pitch she saw in the bottom of the seventh to the gap in left-center, chasing Haley Downin around from first base with the game-winning run, as the No. 1 Wilmington University softball team stayed alive, 5-4, in the CACC Tournament. They advance to face No. 3 Georgian Court in the CACC Championship on Saturday, needing two wins to take the CACC Title. The Wildcats trailed 4-3 heading into the seventh, but Delani Sheehan sparked the comeback with a leadoff double, all leading to Stewart's heroics.
