WEST BABYLON, N.Y. - - Following the best finish of the season, the Wilmington University women's bowling team was honored once again as freshman Leah Henry was named the East Coast Conference Bowler of the Week, as announced by the conference on Wednesday.

Henry (Bridgeton, N.J./Cumberland Regional) led the Wildcats to a second place finish at the Bowl for the Kure, winning two traditional matches as well as all three 10-game baker matches. The Wildcats finished second to St. Francis (N.Y.) by only seven pins for the title.

The freshman was named the Tournament MVP for her combined play in the traditional and baker style matches. In the three traditional matches, Henry finished ninth in the field by averaging a score of 181.33 per game. Henry bowled a 189-188-167 in the traditional matches. She made her mark in the two baker matches however, leading the field with a 21.6 per frame average.

Leah Henry is joined by Kutztown's Dana Henry on the ECC Weekly Bowling Report, as the Kutztown freshman was named the ECC Rookie of the Week.

It is the second time a Wildcat has been named to the ECC Bowling Report, as Bailey Peters was named a Co-Rookie of the Week on November 8.
