Wilmington Baseball Earns No. 4 Seed in NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament; Faces No. 3 Southern New Hampshire Thursday

NEWARK, Del. - - The Wilmington University baseball team already knew its ticket was punched to the NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament, but learned its fate on Sunday night as they earned the fourth seed and will face No. 3 Southern New Hampshire in the first round in Rindge, N.H., on Thursday.

The Wildcats (33-12) earned the automatic qualification into the NCAA East Region Tournament by winning the 2015 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament on Saturday. The Wildcats are making their fifth straight appearance in the NCAA East Region Tournament.

Top seeded Franklin Pierce will host the tournament starting on Thursday while a champion will be crowned on Sunday afternoon.
