NEWARK, Del. - - The reigning National Champion Wilmington University cheerleading team will look to repeat once again at the 2024 UCA National Championships January 12-14 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The Wildcats, winners of nine UCA National Championships dating back to 2012, will be competing in the Small Coed Gameday Division on Friday, January 12, and then will look to defend its title in the Open Small Coed Division on Saturday, January 13.

More specifically, here is when to expect the Wildcats to hit the mats next weekend:
- Friday, January 12 – Small Coed Gameday Division (18 teams)
- Semifinal routine – 3:41 p.m.
- Announcement of Small Coed Gameday Finalists at 4:30 p.m.
- Finals routines begin at 8:00 p.m.
- Awards announced starting at 9:45 p.m.
- Saturday, January 13 – Open Small Coed Division (16 teams)
- Semifinal routine – 9:14 a.m.
- Announcement of Open Small Coed Finalists at 12:30 p.m.
- Finals routine begin at 4:00 p.m.
- Awards announced starting at 5:30 p.m.
For friends, family, and fans that cannot make the trip to Orlando next weekend, there are two chances to check the Wildcats in action at the WU Athletics Complex this weekend.
They will first be performing a part of their gameday routine during the men's and women's doubleheader on Saturday and then will perform their traditional routine immediately following the men's game on Saturday around 5:00 p.m.
The Wildcats will then be holding their annual Nationals Send-Off party on Sunday afternoon at the WU Athletics Complex. The nationals preview routines will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. with the doors to the Complex opening at 3:45.
