After falling behinnd just 1:11 into the match, the Wildcats battled back to tie the match off a corner in the 40th minute. Sam Jester headed home the team's fourth corner of the half from Fredrik Bentdal to send the game into the half at 1-1. The second half was evenly played throughout, but an own goal set the Wildcats back, 2-1, in the 84th minute and they weren't able to recover. The top seeded and natioanlly 24th ranked Wilmington men's soccer team took on eighth seeded Chestnut Hill in the First Round of the CACC Tournament on Tuesday. Daniel Loyo scored within the final two minutes of the first half to start the scoring while Fredrik Bentdal and Tom Garratt finished off the Griffins in the second half.
