In 2011, Linda Van Drie Andrzjewski became the Director of Athletics at Wilmington University.  Her responsibilities include oversight of the entire athletic department, including over 200 student-athletes and over 30 part- and full-time staff members.  In addition to being the Director of Athletics, she is an Assistant Professor in the College of Business.  She has been teaching at Wilmington University for 19 years in both the undergraduate and graduate sports management programs.

Before becoming the Director of Athletics, Van Drie-Andrzjewski was the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and the Senior Woman Administrator.  She held this position for over nine years, during which time the University made its successful move from the NAIA to the NCAA.  When she first came to Wilmington University in 2001, Van Drie-Andrzjewski worked in Student Affairs handling disability services and student concerns.

During her tenure, Van Drie-Andrzjewski has been active with the NCAA.  She is a 2009 graduate of the NCAA Fellows Leadership Program, an 18-month professional development program.  She is also a graduate of the NACWAA/ HERS institute.  Van Drie-Andrzjewski currently serves on the NCAA Legislation Committee and the Pathway Program Selection Committee.  Prior to this she served on the NCAA Division II Academic Requirements Committee (chair____), the NCAA National High School Review Committee, the Division II Degree Completion Scholarship Selection Committee, and the NCAA Division II Academic Requirements Task Force.  During her tenure on both the Academic Requirements Committee and Academic Requirements Task Force, Division II made sweeping changes to its academic eligibility requirements through the passage of the Path to Graduation legislation.

Prior to coming to Wilmington University, Van Drie-Andrzjewski worked in athletics and activities at Goldey-Beacom College for three years.  In addition, she worked as the graduate assistant at the University of Miami in the intramural sports and recreation department.

Ms. Van Drie Andrzjewski received both her B.A in Political Science and M.S. Ed in Sports Administration from the University of Miami (FL).  She is currently working on her doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration at Argosy University.

Van Drie-Andrzjewski is a member of NACWAA (National Association of College Women’s Athletic Administrators), NACDA (National Association of College Directors of Athletics), D2ADA (Division II Athletic Directors Association). 

She currently resides in Reading, Pa., with her husband and two daughters.
