Amiri Stewart Named First Team All-CACC

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - Wilmington University junior Amiri Stewart was voted a First Team All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference performer on Tuesday ahead of the CACC Tournament, as announced by the conference office.

The CACC announced its three All-Conference Teams and major award winners and it is the first time in his career that Amiri Stewart (Boothwyn, Pa.) has been named an All-CACC performer. He is the first First Team performer for the Wildcats since Jermaine Head in the 2019-20 season.

The junior has led the Wildcats to a 16-12 overall record and a 9-7 mark in the CACC. They earned the CACC South Division's No. 3 seed and are heading to play the North Division's No. 2 seed Post in the CACC Tournament First Round on Tuesday night.

Amiri Stewart has come on strong down the stretch of the season to finish third in the CACC with a 17.4 points per game mark.
