Men’s Soccer Returns to United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll in Week 6

NEWARK, Del. - - Riding a three-game winning streak, the Wilmington University men's soccer team has reentered the United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll on Tuesday, sliding in at No. 10 in the Week 6 Poll.

The Wildcats went 2-0 last week and have won three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference games in row, evening their record to 4-4-2 overall heading in Wednesday's game.

There is a total of four CACC teams in the Top 10 poll this week, led by Post at No. 2 in the East and No. 11 in the National Poll. Both Felician and Caldwell moved up two spots in this week's poll, and now sit at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively. Wilmington is the fourth CACC team in the poll at No. 10.  

Franklin Pierce continues to not only head the East Region but also the National Poll, being the only team in the country to win every game so far this season at 9-0-0.

The Wildcats play at Mercy today, who is ranked No. 3 in the East and No. 24 in the National Poll. The Wildcats also have Felician and Caldwell yet to play on their schedule.
