#WilmUWBB ended its 2022-23 season on a high note as the Wildcats closed the season with a 52-47 victory over the crosstown rival Goldey-Beacom Saturday afternoon at the WU Athletics Complex. The win snapped an 11-game losing streak to their in-state foes, having not won since the 2015-16 season at the Joseph West Jones Center. Tonight was the first time the Wildcats defeated the Lightning inside the WU Athletics Complex, which opened for the 2012-13 season. Senior Fatou Ndao led the way on her final game as a Wildcat. Ndao scored 16 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and had one steal and two blocks. Amber Washington added 13 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Jade Roberts was the final Wildcat in double-digits, adding a 12-point double-double with 13 rebounds. Roberts also added four assists and two blocks. Jon Buzby and Lisa Sullivan on the call.
