Darrin Boswell joins the Wilmington University women’s basketball coaching staff for his first season in 2015-16. Boswell joins the Wildcats after an extensive playing career at Dowling College and Goucher College, while also coaching at the high school and college level.

Boswell joins the Wildcats from his most recent coaching position in Dover and Milford, Delaware. He has been a part of the Boy’s AAU Chisum Starz in Milford as well as a boy’s coach with Dover Parks and Recreation since 2013. He also has experience coaching on the boy’s side as an assistant coach at Joppatowne High School (2012-13), and at his alma mater Goucher College (2009-10).

Boswell’s collegiate career started with two seasons at NCAA Division II Dowling College before moving on to play at NCAA Division III Goucher College for his final two seasons in Towson, Md. As a senior in 2008-09, Boswell made 21 starts and led the Gophers in scoring in averaging 13.9 points per game. He earned Second Team All-Landmark for his efforts as a senior.
