NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - After leading the Wilmington University women's soccer team to a fourth place finish in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference regular season, sophomore forward Loran Wyrough has been named First Team All-CACC, as announced Monday by the conference office.

Wyrough (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton West) led the Wildcats to a 10-7 overall record, only the sixth time in the team's NCAA era in which they won 10 or more games. The Wildcats earned the No. 4 seed in the upcoming CACC Tournament with a 9-3 conference record, after being picked to finish seventh in the CACC Preseason Poll.

The redshirt sophomore finished tied atop the CACC leaderboard with 17 goals, while finishing second with 38 points. Her five game-winning goals are second in the conference as well, with all five coming against CACC opponents. Wyrough has scored 15 goals against CACC teams, the most in the conference.

Wyrough scored all four goals in a 4-2 victory at Nyack on October 10, the most in a single game for the Wildcats since the 2007 season. She has scored in 11 of the team's 17 games, scoring multiple goals in four separate games. She scores two goals at Concordia, against Philadelphia, and against Dominican.

Georgian Court led the way with three of the four major award winners, as Lizzie Kroon was named the CACC Women's Soccer Player of the Year, Casey O'Connor was named the CACC Defensive Player of the Year, and James Moore was named the BSN Sports/CACC Coach of the Year. Caldwell's Mary Kanzler was named the CACC Rookie of the Year.

Bloomfield and Concordia split the votes for the 2015 CACC Team Sportsmanship Award.

The fourth seeded Wildcats will host fifth seeded Caldwell on Tuesday in the CACC Tournament First Round. The Wildcats defeated the Cougars, 1-0, at the WU Athletics Complex on October 3 in the only meeting this season. Tuesday's playoff game is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. first whistle.
