SALISBURY, Md. - - The 2015 Don Cathcart Invitational scheduled to be run on Saturday morning in Winter Place Park has been postponed due to incoming Hurricane Joaquin. There is no makeup date for the event.
The wet weather, which began earlier this week due to a separate coastal storm, has already played a roll along the east coast. Hurricane Joaquin will continue to throw a wrench into this weekend's sporting events.
The Wilmington University cross country team now has an extra week to prepare themselves for their next meet in Philadelphia on October 10. The Wildcats will get an extra look at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship course, as they will compete in the Jack St. Clair Championship on Belmont Plateau next weekend.
