High School: Ran two seasons of cross country and four years of indoor and outdoor track at Bel Air High School – was a member of the cross country team that advanced to states in both 2015 and 2016 – helped lead the 4x200 relay team to a State Championship as a sophomore and junior – helped lead the 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams to the State Championship as a senior – 4x200 relay team set a new school record – named the indoor and outdoor track and field captain as a senior – honor roll student.

Personal: Julia M. Merritt – daughter of April Kramer and Mark Merritt – the oldest with four siblings: Mark, Briana, Cielo, and Gabriel – cousin, Kaitlin Ayres, played lacrosse at Hofstra University (2012-14) – majoring in criminal justice at Wilmington University – from Abington, Md. – favorite athlete is Usain Bolt – also enjoys hiking, spikeball, and basketball – favorite movie is Step Brothers – the perfectly prepared meal would be steak and asparagus with a chocolate milkshake – considers her old coach, Sharon Pickett, and her sister Briana, her role models in life.
