High School: Ran cross country and track at Caravel Academy – broke the school record for the 3200 meter event as a senior (9:34) – finished second at the Division II State Championships in the 3200 meter event as a senior – finished second in the 1600 meter event in the Meet of Champions as a senior – finished eighth at the cross country Division II State Championships as a junior and senior – also a member of the swim team at Caravel Academy – was the Freshman Class Treasurer, the Sophomore Class President, and the Senior Vice President during high school.

Personal: Jacob E. Puharic – son of Donald and Brenda Puharic – has two siblings, Josh and Brooke – majoring in business management at Wilmington University with aspirations of owning a business – from Bear, Del. – also enjoys surfing – favorite professional sports team is the Green Bay Packers – biggest pet peeves are rolling backpacks and backseat drivers
