CACC Retrospective Series: 2015 Wilmington BaseballApril 30, 2020The CACC continued its original series, CACC Retrospective, on Wednesday night, and featured the 2015 Wilmington University baseball team that came from behind to win the CACC Championship and a week later was the first CACC baseball team to claim the East Regional Tournament Championship and earn a bid to the NCAA Division II Championships.

CACC Spring Spotlight: Dan Hyatt (Baseball)April 15, 2020Following the March 13 cancellation of the remainder of the spring 2020 NCAA athletics season due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference instituted a Spring Spotlight series. Wilmington Baseball to Host Alumni Reunion on April 3 at Newark Country ClubMarch 09, 2020The Wilmington University Athletics Department is teaming up with the Alumni Relations and Development Departments to host a baseball reunion to celebrate the program’s rich history. The winning tradition began with the program’s inception at the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) level and has continued since becoming an NCAA (National Collegiate Athletics Association) member in 2004.

Baseball vs. St. AnselmMarch 03, 2020The Wilmington baseball team defeated St. Anselm, 20-10, on Tuesday in Auburndale, Fla., on the strength of six home runs in the game. Six different Wildcats hit the homers, capped by a CJ Wilkerson grand slam in the top of the ninth. Brock Nowell went 5-for-5 with a homer, Dan Hyatt went 3-for-3 with a homer, Eddie Nevins, Derek Donastorg, JJ Killen, and Wilkerson all homered in the game.
