Five Wildcats Earn Spot on USILA Division 2 Men’s Lacrosse All-North Region Teams

NEWARK, Del. - - Five Wilmington University men's lacrosse student-athletes were named on the 2024 USILA Division 2 Men's Lacrosse All-North Region Teams, led by a pair of Second Team honorees for their performance on the field in 2024.

Leading the All-Region performers for the Wildcats were seniors Logan Stinson and TJ Caton, both earning Second Team honors. Miles Crouse, Jake Herman, and Matt Kracyla were all named Honorable Mention All-Region on the North Team as well.

Logan Stinson (Lafayette, La.) broke his own school record with 63 goals and 79 points this year, ending his collegiate career as the program's all-time leader in both categories as well. He leaves with 194 career goals and 79 career assists for 273 career points, leading the team to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament Championship game in three of his five seasons. Stinson is ranked No. 2 in all of NCAA DII in scoring 4.20 goals per game and No. 5 in scoring 5.27 points per game. His 13 man-up goals this year rank No. 4 in the country. He had a season high 10 points at Caldwell, scoring eight goals while adding two assists.

TJ Caton (Palmyra, Pa.) has been a stat sheet stuffer during his entire career, finishing this year with 30 goals and 16 assists for 46 points, adding 64 ground balls and eight caused turnovers as a two-way midfielder. His 64 ground balls are tops among non-faceoff players on the Wildcats, starting all 15 games. He had a season high seven points against Felician, scoring five goals while adding two assists. He also had six points at Post, scoring three goals while adding three assists. He posted a season's best nine ground balls twice, first against Bridgeport and again at Caldwell.

Miles Crouse (Baltimore, Md.) finished third on the team with 61 points, scoring 32 goals while adding 29 assists, mainly playing from the 'X' position. Crouse is ranked 38th in NCAA DII in scoring 4.07 points per game, scoring 2.13 goals and 1.93 assists per game. He is ranked No. 24 in the country in assists per game as well. Crouse has only needed 66 shots (47 on goal) to score his 32 goals, leading the team and ranking 11th in the NCAA DII with a 0.485 shot percentage. He scored a season's best nine points twice, first with five goals and four assists against Bridgeport and then with five goals and four assists against Molloy. He dished out a season's high five assist at Holy Family.

Jake Herman (Palmyra, Pa.) will leave the Wildcats' program as the all-time leader in assists, dishing out 146 career helpers. He narrowly missed his own school record of 44 assists, recording 41 assists this season to finish fourth in NCAA DII in averaging 2.73 assists per game. He had a season's best seven assists against Felician, going for eight points overall. Herman also had three games with five assists throughout the season. He is second all-time (behind Stinson) with 213 career points, scoring 67 career goals as well.

Matt Kracyla (Middletown, Del.) has been an ultra-reliable short stick defensive midfielder for the Wildcats, playing in all 15 games this game and all 27 in his career as a Wildcat. The Two-time All-CACC performer finished sixth on the team with 28 ground balls, adding seven caused turnovers. In transition, he's scored two goals and added an assist this year, scoring goals against Bridgeport and at Holy Family. He's had a season's high four ground balls twice this year, first against Chestnut Hill and again at Dominican.

The Wildcats advanced to the CACC Tournament Championship for the third time in four years, going 11-4 overall this year. They won the CACC Regular Season title with a perfect 8-0 record, hosting a CACC Tournament Semifinal match at the WU Athletics Complex for the first time in program history.
