Alea Javorowsky slammed a one-time touch pass into the back of the net with seven seconds on the scoreboard, sending #WilmUWLax to a 13-12 nonconference victory over Bloomsburg on Saturday afternoon at the WU Athletics Complex. A strong first half saw the Wildcats (4-3) jump out to as large as a 7-3 lead. Bloomsburg (4-4) put runs together to get back into the contest in the second half, tying the game at 9-9, and again at 12-12 with less than a minute to play in the fourth quarter. Ella Royer led the Wildcats with five goals, two assists, five draws, four ground balls, and three caused turnovers. Eden Ward finished with three goals, two assists, three draws, three ground balls, and three caused turnovers. Alea Javorowsky had two goals and an assist while Michaella Cook had a goal and two assists. Caitlyn Welker added five draws while Sophie Shive chipped in with two caused turnovers and three ground balls. Ashleigh Lawry made 11 saves in goal for the Wildcats.
