2018 One Roar Home Run Derby

Wilmington University Student Life and the More Roar group put on the first One Roar Home Run Derby featuring staff members against each other. The event kicked off the 2018 Wildcat Pride Week, leading up to Homecoming Saturday. Unfortunately the student event which was supposed to held prior to the staff event was rained out. Team SheGone coached by softball head coach Mike Shehorn won the event, with the individual winner going to baseball head coach Brian August who went a perfect 10-for-10 in the second round and then won it all in the championship round against James Brittingham.
