2015 Season: First Team Daktronics All-American - Second Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American - Third Team NCBWA All-American - NCAA Division II East Region Most Outstanding Player - NCAA Division II East Region All-Tournament Team - First Team ABCA, NCBWA, and Daktronics All-East Region - First Team All-CACC

2014 Season: Second Team Daktronics All-East Region - Second Team NCBWA All-East Region - First Team All-CACC - Appeared in 25 games out of the pen as a junior – led the CACC with eight saves, more than double anyone else – named Second Team Daktronics All-East Region, Second Team NCBWA All-East Region, and First Team All-CACC – tossed 25.2 innings, only allowing three earned runs – struck out 34 batters while only allowing five walks – averaged 11.92 strikeouts per nine innings, ranking second in program history for a single season, 14.54 per game against conference opponents – picked up first career save on February 23 against Saint Rose – pitched a season high 2.0 innings at Nyack in the second game of the doubleheader, earning the win – saved both wins during the CACC Tournament – now ranks 3^rd all-time in career appearances and fifth in career saves

2013 Season: One of the most reliable arms out of the pen as sophomore, appearing in 28 games – led the team with a 1.82 ERA, going 5-1 overall – recorded 27 strikeouts in 29.2 innings pitched, only allowing six earned runs – went his first 17 appearances without allowing a run, covering 21.2 innings – struck out a season high four batters at USciences in 1.2 innings of work – pitched two innings in three separate games, against Dominican, Bloomfield, and Post, all without allowing a run.

2012 Season: Appeared in 21 games as a freshman, all out of the bullpen – tossed a season high two innings at St. Thomas, not allowing a run while surrendering only one hit – struck out two batters in three different appearances, first against Dominican, then Mansfield, and against Franklin Pierce in an inning of work in the NCAA East Region Tournament. 

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Unionville in baseball and basketball – was a pitcher and third baseman from 2007-2011 on the diamond – named All-Ches-Mont League, All-State and Ches-Mont Pitcher of the Year through four-year tenure – named to the academic honor roll while at Unionville.

Personal: Jeffrey Tyler Fries (pronounced Freeze) – son of Jeff and Wendy Fries – has a younger brother, Kyle, who is a freshman on the Wilmington University baseball team – majoring in criminal justice at Wilmington with aspirations of become a State Trooper on the K-9 Unit – from Kennett Square, Pa. – if he could be anything other than a professional athlete, he would be a State Trooper – the most played song on his iPod is Biggie Smalls’ “Big Poppa” – if he could date a celebrity he would date Carrie Underwood – his biggest pet peeve is bad drivers.
