NEWARK, Del. - - Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference members Thomas Jefferson University and Wilmington University are among the nine teams listed in the latest 2024 NCAA Division II East Region Women's Soccer Ranking, the D-II Women's Soccer Committee released today. Jefferson is ranked No. 4 in the region, while Wilmington is the East's No. 7 team.

Wilmington's (11-4-1, 7-2-1 CACC) nonconference strength of schedule in the early going has helped the Wildcats get into the rankings this year, earning wins over a pair of teams in the Top 10 this season. They defeated Adelphi and Saint Anselm in the first four games of the year.
Jefferson (13-1-2, 10-0-0 CACC) has clinched the CACC regular-season championship and the top seed in next week's conference championship tournament. Wilmington has also locked up a first-round home game for the CACC playoffs, which begin on November 11. The winner of the CACC Tournament receives an automatic berth into the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship.
Both the Rams and Wildcats conclude their regular seasons on Friday.
The NCAA will announce the 56-team field for the D-II Women's Soccer Championship on Monday, November 18. The East Region will receive automatic qualifiers from the CACC, East Coast Conference and Northeast 10 Conference and four at-large berths.
