VIDEO: Softball vs Pace (NCAA)

The tying run was thrown out at the plate to end the First Round of the NCAA Division II East Region 2 Softball Tournament, with the 2nd seeded Wilmington University Wildcats coming out on top, 2-1, over 7th seeded Pace on Thursday afternoon at Asbury Field. Sara Miller hit a 2-run homer to right center, her single season program tying 10th of the year, and single season record breaking 62nd RBI. Haley Downin then threw the tying run out at the plate to end the game. Kylee Gunkel won her 20th game of the year. Delanie Sheehan had her 3rd save of the year.
