VIDEO: Softball vs Adelphi (Super Regional GM 1)

A four-run 3rd inning and a four-run 7th inning paced the 24th ranked and No. 2 seed Wilmington University softball team to a 10-1 victory over 12th ranked and No. 1 seed Adelphi in the first game of the best-of-three Super Regional series on Thursday. Tristyn Stewart went 3-for-4 with a 2-run single to spur the 3rd inning while Bri Coyle went 2-for-4 with a 2-run single in the 7th for insurance runs. Taylor Gillis and Sara Miller also had two hits in the game. Kylee Gunkel went the distance for the Wildcats, allowing a run on seven hits with four strikeouts, improving to 22-5 on the year.
