Wilmington Volleyball Announces Instructional Camp and Position Clinics For High School Students in August

NEWARK, Del. - - Led by 18-year coaching veteran Kim Huggins-Habbert, the Wilmington University volleyball team will be conducting a three-day Wildcats in Training: 2022 Volleyball Camp as well as individual position specific clinics in August for high school students in preparation for the upcoming season.

The camp will run from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on August 3-5 to prepare students entering grades 8-12 for the upcoming high school season. The camp will focus on all aspects of the volleyball game at both an individual skill set and team instruction.

The cost of the clinic is $275 dollars and all students attending the three-day clinic are responsible for bringing kneepads, court shoes, bagged lunch, and extra clothes.

In addition to the day camp, Huggins-Habbert is offering position specific Skills Clinics at night that same week. A clinic for setters will be held on August 2 while a hitting and blocking clinic will be held on August 3. A passing and defense clinic will be offered on August 4 as well. The cost of each clinic is $50 and will be run from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the WU Athletics Complex.

An online brochure and the University Camps and Clinics Waiver forms can also be found on the camps site. Registration and payment are done exclusively online.
