At Harford CC: Helped the Fighting Owls women’s soccer team to a 34-4-2 overall record in two seasons at Harford Community College – as a freshman, she led her team to a conference, Region XX and District H Championship, en route to a fifth place finish at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament – also won the conference championship in 2010, but fell in a shoot in the Region XX Championship match.

High School: Four year letterwinner in soccer at Fallston High School under coaches Allison Cammann and Mark Hannahs – helped team to four straight UCBAA Conference Championships – team won the regional championship as a sophomore, junior and senior – helped the team win the division championship and advance to the Maryland State Tournament, finishing the season as State Finalist as a senior in 2008 – named First Team All-County as a freshman and First Team All-District as a sophomore, junior and senior – distinguished honor roll all four years – Minds in Motion Scholar – member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society – member of the Varsity Club and the Best Buddies Program

Personal: Penelope Stergos Fantis – daughter of Stergos and Kalliopi Fantis – has an older sister, Flora – father, Stergos, played professional soccer in Greece – majoring in sports management at Wilmington University with aspirations of coaching and working in sports – favorite athletes are Christiano Ronaldo and Messi – most memorable sports moment consists of winning the CACC championship with the WU soccer team.
