Wilmington Softball Head Coach Mike Shehorn to Host a Pair of All-Skills Clinics in July

NEW CASTLE, Del. - - Coming off its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament Championship and NCAA Division II Regional Tournament appearance, the Wilmington University softball team and head coach Mike Shehorn has announced a pair of instructional clinics in July.

The first camp is an All-Skills Camp fro girls ages 10 and older, focusing on learning the fundamentals of the game of softball. The clinic will feature both offensive and defensive aspects of the game. The three-day All-Skills Camp will run from July 14-17, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The second camp is an advanced All-Skills Camp for high school students only. The camp will focus on advanced softball skills including hitting movement pitches, making quick decisions, and refining defensive techniques. The three-day Advanced All-Skills Camp will run from July 22-14, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Both camps will be run from the home of Wildcat Softball at Asbury Field on the New Castle campus of Wilmington University.

The cost for each camp is $100, or the discounted price of $180 to be included in both softball camps.
