NEWARK, Del. - - In preparation for the upcoming 2016 Wilmington University softball season, third year head coach Mike Shehorn has scheduled a walk-on tryout on Friday, September 25 at Asbury Field.
Any currently enrolled full-time Wilmington University students interested in trying out for the 2016 squad must contact Shehorn regarding interest in the program, as well as have the proper paperwork filled out and returned to Shehorn no later than September 18.
The tryout date is set for Friday, September 25 at 2:30 p.m. at Asbury Field.
In order to tryout, the following documents must be turned into Shehorn and the athletic department no later than September 18:
- Official Wilmington University Tryout Waiver (pdf)
- A physical from your personal doctor within the last six months
- Documents results of a sickle cell solubility test
