In a newly aligned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference without divisions, the Wilmington University women's lacrosse team was selected fourth in the 2015 CACC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll in a vote by the league's nine head coaches.

The Wildcats are coming off a 9-8 season in 2014 where they went 6-5 in the CACC, missing the CACC Tournament by two games. They earned 63 points for fourth place, finishing as one of three teams from the old South Division to be picked in the top four.

The defending CACC Tournament Champion Philadelphia was picked to repeat with 98 points, earning eight first place votes along the way. Georgian Court earned a first place vote and 85 points overall to finish second while Holy Family, who lost to Philadelphia in the CACC Tournament Championship, picked up the final first place vote and 80 total points for third overall.

Dominican followed the Wildcats in fifth with 59 points while Chestnut Hill rounds out the predicted teams that will make the CACC Tournament this year in sixth place, earning 51 points.
