2017: Competed in all seven events her junior year – season’s best 5K came at the WUXC Invite with a time of 22:01.66, finishing 5th overall – season’s best 6K was a 27:37.63 at the UD Invitational #1 – ran a 24:03.2 at the CACC Championships, where she finished 65th – finished 29th overall the Don Cathcart Invite with a time of 24:11.03 – competed in the NCAA Division Regional Championships in 28:11.5 – also ran in the Philly Metro and UD Blue and Gold Invite.
2016: Competed in the final six events for the Wildcats during her sophomore season – set personal records in both the 5K and 6K lengths in 2016 – best 5K event came at the CACC Championships, finishing 36th overall with a time of 21:52.8 – best 6K time came at the NCAA Division II Regional with a time of 25:10.7, placing 116th overall.
2015: Competed in five events in her first season with the Wildcats – best overall finish came with a 5K PR at the Panorama Farms Invitational, finishing the race in 24:46.6 for 30th place – fastest 6K event came at the NCAA Division II East Regional Championship, finishing 169th with a time of 27:51.4 – also ran in the UD Invite #1, the Jack St. Clair Championships, and finished 67th at the CACC Championships.
High School: Competed in cross-country, basketball, lacrosse, and track at St. Mark’s High School – honor roll student.
Personal: Tara A. Langan – daughter of Paul and Theresa Langan – has a younger sister, Haley – majoring in elementary education at Wilmington University – from Wilmington, Del. – favorite athlete is Elena Della Donne – also enjoys playing basketball – favorite cartoon character is Scooby Doo – the perfectly prepared meal would be a buffalo chicken cheesesteak – if she could do anything besides be a collegiate athlete, she would want to get paid to travel the world – favorite show of all time is One Tree Hill – her “hero” is her Poppy.
