NEWARK, Del. - - The spring season is already known as an ever-changeable schedule when it comes to intercollegiate athletics. Throw in returning from a pandemic and you've a perfect storm, hopefully one that has sunshine and rainbows on the other side.

The following changes have been made to the Wilmington University athletics calendar for the upcoming week:

SOFTBALL:

• March 24 – the Wildcats' season opener at USciences has been delayed 22 hours from Thursday, May 25 to Friday, May 26 at 12:00 p.m. in Philadelphia.

BASEBALL:

• March 24 – the Wildcats' doubleheader at USciences has been pushed up 24 hours, from Sunday, March 28 to Saturday, March 27 at 12:00 p.m. in Philadelphia.
• Single game at Nyack College on April 6 will be played at 11:00 a.m. at New Jersey City University.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE:

• March 24 – next Wednesday's CACC opener against Georgian Court, March 31, has been postponed. A makeup date has not been announced.

As a reminder, CACC and Wilmington University policy states no spectators at any sport for the 2021 season. We will do our best to have both live stats and live video at every home game this spring.
