Wilmington Men’s Basketball to Host Alumni Game and Accept Donations Prior to Saturday’s Game

NEWARK, Del. - - The Wilmington University men's basketball team will be hosting its annual alumni game as well as accepting monetary donations to help fund the Joy of Sharing campaign in addition to playing Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference South Division rival Holy Family on Saturday afternoon.

Prior to the game, alumni of the program will be playing against each other in a friendly competition at the WU Athletics Complex. Many alumni have not had the opportunity to play on the new home court of the Wildcats, as the team is in its second season on the new hardwood. The Pratt Center used to be called home for both the men's and women's basketball programs.

Fans are more than welcome to come watch the alumni game, starting at 12 p.m., and stick around to watch the current Wilmington team battle Holy Family starting at 3 p.m.

When attending the CACC contest, the team will be accepting monetary donations at the door to help the team raise money for CBS 3's 25th Annual Joy of Sharing campaign. The team will take the monetary donations to buy new, unopened gifts to donate for the campaign. Any and all donations will be much appreciated!

Join us for all of Saturday's activities as the Wildcats take on Holy Family at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the WU Athletics Complex.
