Men’s Lacrosse Names Four as 2022 Captains

NEWARK, Del. - - Head coach Christian Zwickert has announced four captains for the 2022 Wilmington University men's lacrosse season.

Senior goalkeeper Noah Given, junior defenseman Zach Pancake, sophomore midfielder Keeshawn Bell, and sophomore attack Giovanni Marino were all selected to lead the Wildcats in 2022.

The Wildcats won their season opener on Saturday, 26-4, against Chowan, and were picked to finish second in the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Preseason Coaches Poll. All four captains were a part of the 2021 team that advanced to the CACC Tournament Championship.

The Wildcats face nationally No. 5 Mercy on Saturday at the WU Athletics Complex. Conference play begins Saturday, March 26 against Caldwell.
