NEW HAVEN, Del. - - A must-win game and the start to a season produced three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Players of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

A convincing 92-67 women's basketball victory at Goldey-Beacom enabled senior forward Lindsay Bradford to earn the CACC Defensive Player of the Week award while redshirt freshman Macy Robinson was named the CACC Rookie of the Week.

Softball began its 2016 season with six games in Myrtle Beach and the bat of junior Becca Stanley led her to be named a CACC Co-Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

The Wildcats needed the win at Goldey-Beacom to stay alive for a CACC Tournament playoff berth, and Bradford and Robinson both helped to keep team afloat.

Bradford (Gwynn Oak, Md.) came off the bench to score 10 points, but anchored the defense with nine rebounds and four blocked shots. Eight of her nine rebounds came on the defensive glass. The four blocked shots against the Lightning give her 15 blocked shots over the past three games. Bradford continues to lead the CACC and is currently ranked 17th in NCAA Division II with 60 blocks on the year, and 21st in averaging 2.22 per game. It is the first time in her career she has been named on the CACC Weekly Report.

Robinson (Wilmington, Del.) also came off the bench to lead the scoring effort for the Wildcats, scoring 27 points while hitting 5-of-7 from beyond the three-point arc. She shot a remarkable 7-of-13 from the floor while also adding 8-of-9 from the foul line in the victory. She also grabbed 13 rebounds (nine defensively) for her third double-double of the season. It is the second time this season she has been named the CACC Rookie of the Week (January 4).

The Wildcats also placed Tenicia Spence (Baltimore, Md.) on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll for scoring 25 points at Goldey-Beacom.

Stanley (Claymont, Del.) led the offense for the Wildcats in their season opening weekend in Myrtle Beach. The Wildcats went 2-4 over the week, with Stanley hitting .444 (8-for-18) with three doubles and a home run. She also led the team with a .778 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base percentage in the six games. The junior outfielder hit doubles against Le Moyne, Shippensburg, and Merrimack before hitting a two-run shot against Mansfield. She went a weekend's best 3-for-4 with the home run, two RBI, and two runs scored against Mansfield. She also collected two hits against Lock Haven. It is the first time in her career she has been named on the CACC Weekly Reports.

The Wildcats also placed freshman second baseman Jazmeen Llamas on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll for hitting .438 (7-for-16) in her collegiate career debut.
