NEWARK, Del. - - The Wilmington University women's tennis team remained at the top of the latest NCAA Division II Women's Tennis East Regional Rankings, as of Wednesday afternoon.

The Wildcats have one regular season match remaining prior to the NCAA Division II Selection Show scheduled for Monday night on NCAA.com. The Wildcats head to Queens (N.Y.) on Saturday for their final match.

The Wildcats slipped against New Haven in their last match, who now enter the rankings at No. 7 this week. Wilmington is 18-2 overall, with a 17-2 in-region record.

The Top 5 make the NCAA Regionals, hosted at two separate sites. The Wildcats are looking to stay in the top two for the Selection Show to host one of the East Regional Pods for the second year in row. The East will have two teams advance to the NCAA National Championships in May.

Saturday's match is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at Queens College. Monday's Selection Show is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on NCAA.com. A link to the show will be on the front page of NCAA.com.
