  •  Wilmington's Holliday and Aviola Selected in Major League Baseball Draft

    Wilmington University is pleased to announce that baseball standouts Cody Holliday (Havre de Graces HS/Havre de Grace, MD) and Phil Aviola (St. Mark’s HS/Newark, DE) have been in the Major League Baseball Draft this week.  Holliday was selected by the New York Mets in the 18th round (554th overall) of the Major League Baseball draft on Wednesday, June 10, while Aviola was tabbed in the 35th round (1,067th overall) by the Philadelphia Phillies.

    Wilmington University is pleased to announce that baseball standout Cody Holliday (Havre de Graces HS/Havre de Grace, MD) has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All- American Honorable Mention Team for his performance this past season.

  • Holliday Named To Daktronics All-East Region Baseball First Team

    Wilmington University is pleased to announce that Cody Holliday (Havre de Graces HS/Havre de Grace, MD) has been named to the Daktronics Baseball All-Northeast Region First Team for his performance this season. The team is voted upon by the region’s Division II sports information directors. Daktronics is a world leader in programmable electronic signs, electronic and digital displays and scoreboards.
  • Wildcats Advance to NCAA East Regional Baseball Tournament

    Dominican College has earned the top seed for the upcoming NCAA Division II Baseball Championship East Regional, as announced Sunday night by the NCAA. The six-team, double-elimination regional will be held Thursday, May 14 through Sunday, May 17 at Franklin Pierce University's Dr. Arthur and Martha Pappas Field. Franklin Piece is the No. 2 seed for the event. Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament Champion Wilmington University claimed the No. 6 seed.

DuPont HS/Hockessin, DE) have earned All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) baseball honors for their performances this past season.
  • Third Seeded Wilmington University to Host CACC Baseball Tournament

    Wilmington University will host the upcoming Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Tournament later this week.  The Wildcats enter the tournament as the third seed with a record of 15-12 in the CACC and an overall record of 24-27.
