NCAA Announces Regional Fields for 2022 Men’s Golf Championships

NEWARK, Del. - - The Wilmington University golf team knew they were advancing to the 2022 Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournament but learned they will be the No. 7 seed out of the East when the tournament begins on Thursday, May 5, at the Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, New York.

The Super Regional Tournament features 10 teams from the East and 10 teams from the Atlantic, all vying to be one of four teams from the Super Regional to advance to the 2022 National Tournament. The Wildcats earned an automatic bid into the Super Regional Tournament by winning the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament in the fall.

The Super Regional Tournament will feature a 54-hole format, with the teams playing 18 holes each day. The lowest four scores from each team of five will count towards the team score each day.
