Softball vs. Chestnut Hill

The Wildcats swept their second CACC doubleheader of the week with a pair of run-ruled shortened games agaisnt Chestnut Hill, 11-3 (6 inn.) and 8-0 (5 inn.), on Thursday at Asbury Field. Rosa'Lynn Burton, Kiana Broderson-Jones, and Makayla McCarthy each had two his in game one as KBJ led the way with 3 RBI. Lauren Lopez added 2 RBI while Caitlyn Whiteside improved to 13-6 on the year. Burton, Alyssa Velasquez, and Alexis Sann all had two hits in game two as Courtney Dellinger and Sann led the way with 2 RBI each. McCarthy improved to 7-3 in the circle while also hitting the game-ending RBI double in the fifth. The Wildcats are now 21-9 and 9-1 in the CACC. Copyright 2019; Wilmington University.
