2018 (XC): Ran in eight meets his first season as a Wildcat – ran a 8K personal best at the Don Cathcart Invitational with a time of 26:58.64 – ran a 10K personal best at the NCAA Division II East Regional Championship in 35:55.10, finishing 81st out of 170 runners – finished 24th at the CACC Championships with a time of 29:06.2 – placed sixth out of 69 runners at the UD Blue and Gold Invite with a time of 27:53.6 – finished fifth at the 18th Annual Wilmington University Invite in a time of 30:03.7 – placed 18th at the Philly Metro in 29:03.3 – also competed at the Inter-Regional, finishing with a time of 28:13.9, placing 61st.
At Gloucester County College: James ran track at Gloucester in 2017 and 2018, where he was an All-American and a 2018 track and field Champion.
At Rowan College: James ran cross country at Rowan in the spring of 2016, where he was an All-American.
High School: ran cross country and track at Williamstown High Schoolfor coaches Dwayne Dobbins and Allison Catinacci – was the Gloucester County Champion of the 800m his senior year – also played football his freshman and sophomore year – member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: James William Kennedy IV – son of Susanna and James William Kennedy III – older brother to Brain and Nathan – majoring in environmental science and policy with aspirations of becoming a M.D. – from Williamstown, N.J. – favorite athlete is Carson Wentz – also enjoys biking, hiking, and watching/playing football – most played artists on his iPod are Drake and Kayne West – if he could be someone else for the day he would be president – favorite pro sports team is the Philadelphia Eagles.
