NEWARK, Del. - - A pair of second half goals led the Wilmington University women's soccer team to a come-from-behind victory over Felician, 2-1, to open Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play on Sunday afternoon at the WU Athletics Complex.

Felician (0-3-1, 0-1 CACC) came out of the gates and put early pressure on the Wildcats (2-1-1, 1-0 CACC), taking a halftime lead following a goal in the 33^rd minute.

The Wildcats took over in the second half however, not allowing the Golden Falcons to get a shot off in the final 45 minutes. With keeping the offensive pressure throughout the half, Rebecca Dolhansky tied the match in the 64^th minute, getting a shot from 22 yards out to hit the underside of the crossbar and bounce across the goal line before popping out.

Not even seven minutes later, the Wildcats were able to take the lead in the 71^st minute as Preslie Quaranta scored her first goal as a Wildcat. Quaranta was taken down in the right side of the box and converted her own penalty kick to put the Wildcats ahead, 2-1.

Felician put up five shots in the first half, but the Wildcats came back to outshoot them, 5-0, in the second half alone. The Wildcats outshot the Golden Falcons, 11-5, for the match.

Wilmington goalkeeper Kierstyn Williams made one save for the match while Jamie Kazenmayer recorded four saves for Felician, all in the first half.

The Wildcats have a busy week ahead, as they play three more games. They stay in the CACC for their next contest, as they head to Holy Family on Tuesday for a 4:00 p.m. start.
