NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Commissioner Dan Mara announced that a record 46 student-athletes were named to the 2015-16 Winter All-Academic Team for the leagues two winter championship sports (men's and women's basketball)

The new total breaks the old mark of 44 student-athletes, which was set last season during the 2014-15 year. Overall, it is the third consecutive year a record number of student-athletes received winter all-academic status, as the streak began in 2013-14 when 39 individuals received the recognition.

Wilmington University's women's basketball standout Jocelyn Rodriguez earned a spot on the list, carrying a 3.84 cumulative grade point average. The junior is studying to complete a behavioral science major and has just completed her third season on the Wildcats. She is a two-time winter all-academic award recipient.

Women's basketball led the championship sports with 31 honorees, while men's basketball produced 15. Twelve (12) of the 46 were named to the Winter All-Academic Team for the second time in their career, while seven were honored for the third time.
