Freshman Season (2016): CACC Rookie of the Week (9/19) – appeared in all 108 sets in the middle as a true freshman – finished tied for third on the team in averaging 1.53 kills per set, but second on the team with 165 kills – also finished second on the team and eighth in the CACC in averaging 0.82 blocks per set – led the team with 25 solo blocks, adding 64 block assists for 89 total – added a team best 38 aces, combining to finish second on the team and 22nd in the CACC with 260 points – collected double digit kills in three matches, setting a season high 14 against Millersville on September 7 – collected a season high eight total blocks (three solo, five assist) against USciences in the last match of the year – had four aces twice, in back-to-back games, against Philadelphia and Concordia.
High School: Three-year letter winner as an outside hitter at Dulaney High School for coaches Cary Lyon and Chelsea Mead – helped lead the team to the Maryland AAAA State Championship (21-0) as a sophomore in 2013 – helped lead the team to the Maryland AAAA State Championship match (19-1) as a senior in 2015 – high school team was the County Championship in each of her four years – honor roll student.
Personal: Rebecca Shari Rawlinson – daughter of Ronald Simmons and Jennifer Rawlinson – has a younger brother, Bryson – father, Ronald, played soccer at Howard University – majoring in psychology at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a clinical psychologist – from Cockeysville, Md. – favorite athletes are Michael Phelps and Jordan Larson – if she could date a celebrity, she would date Michael B.
