The Wilmington University golf team fired a team best 298 in the final round of the Guy Harvey Invitational on Tuesday, jumping four spots to finish 11^th overall in the tournament hosted by Nova Southeastern at the PGA National Champion Course.

The 298 was the fourth best team score on Tuesday, allowing the Wildcats to jump four teams and finish with a 911 (+47) for the three-round tournament.

Senior Alexander Lautenschlaeger shot a team best 70 on Tuesday, moving up 13 spots to a tie for 11^th overall for the tournament. He shot a 71-76-70 to finish with at 217 strokes, just one-over par.

Junior Jordan Lamb was the second Wildcat scorer on Tuesday, posting a 74 to move up to a tie for 66^th overall. He finished his three-round tournament with a 79-81-74, posting an 18-over score in the two days. 

Freshman Joe Russo moved up to a tie for 54^th overall with a third round score of 75 on Tuesday, finishing with a 79-77-75. His 231 strokes were good enough for 15-over par as the third Wilmington scorer on Tuesday.

Sophomore Freddy Braun was the final scorer for the Wildcats on Tuesday, posting a 79 to come in a tie for 63^rd overall. He shot a 77-77-79 for a three-round score of 233, 17-over par.

Andreas Lunding shot an 80 on Tuesday to round out the five-man team for Wilmington, posting a 78-78-80 for a three-round score of 236, 20-over par. He placed in a tie for 74^th overall.

Playing as an individual, Sam Clark shot a 74 on Tuesday, finishing in a tie for 42^nd overall with a 227, 11-over par. He shot a 75-78-74 for the two-day tournament. Matt DiEleuterio finished with an 89 on Tuesday, placing him in 94^th overall after an individual effort with a 262, 46-over par.

Barry set a new program record with an 845 three-round score, posting a 19-under par score to win the tournament by 19 strokes. Host Nova Southeastern finished even for the tournament while St. Leo finished at 7-over par for third place.

Barry's Adam Svensson earned medalist honors after posting a 72 on Tuesday, finishing with a 207, nine-under par score for the tournament. Nova Southeastern's Santiago Gomez moved up two spots to take second place with a 69 on Tuesday, finishing at six-under par.

The Wildcats return to action next Tuesday when they play in the Griffin Invitational against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference opponents hosted by Chestnut Hill. The one-day tournament will be played in Telford, Pa., at the Indian Valley Country Club.
