February 28, 2018The Wilmington men's lacrosse program played its inaugural game on February 27, 2018 at home against the Distrit of Columbia. Josh Burley scored the program's first ever goal in the first quarter, tallying three marks in the game. The Wildcats closed the deficit to 5-4 with 29 seconds left in the first half, but UDC answered with five straight goals to take command of the game. Cory Melvin scored teh final three goals for the Wildcats, collecting another hat trick for the Wildcats in their first ever game. Noah Given made 15 saves in goal.
