2018 Season: Second Team All-CACC

2017 Season: Appeared in 34 games while making 29 starts as a sophomore, mainly as the team’s catcher – collected 24 hits in 102 at-bats, hitting nine doubles with 11 RBI and 16 runs scored – threw out six would be base stealers in 16 attempts – went 3-for-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run scored in game one against Concordia on March 25 – went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three runs scored in game one at USciences.

2016 Season: Appeared in 28 games while making 25 starts at the catcher’s position as a true freshman – batted 18-for-75 for a .240 batting average – hit three doubles and finished with five RBI and six runs scored – collected his first collegiate base hit on March 8 at Lynn, going 1-for-3 with a run scored – hit his first collegiate double on April 11 at Concordia – had three multi-hit games – knocked in a season high two RBI on April 2 at Felician – tied for the team lead with throwing out six would-be base stealers.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Don Bosco Prep – helped lead the team to the Non-Public A league championship as a junior and a senior – helped lead the team to the county and sectional championship as a senior in 2015 – named a First Team All-League player.

Personal: Frank Anthony Nigro – son of Anthony and Karenanne Nigro – has two older siblings, Arthur, and Jaimee, and a younger brother, Anthony – uncle, Mike Kearney, played baseball at Seton Hall and Rutgers – uncle, Pat Kearney, played football at Boston University – majoring in sports management at Wilmington University – from Stony Point, N.Y. – favorite athlete is Salvador Perez – if he could be someone else for a day, he would want to be Tom Brady – favorite professional sports team is the New York Yankees – the perfect meal would be chicken and mashed potatoes.
