MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - - Senior Sam Clark shot a team best 73 in the final round of The Battles at the Shores, leading the team to a 303 on Tuesday and a three-round total 912 to finish in a tie for 11^th overall. The tournament was played at the Normandy Shores Golf Club, hosted by Barry University.

Clark's 73 on Tuesday made the highest finished for the Wildcats, as he finished with a 79-71-73 for a Wildcats' best 223 (+10). He final round 73 moved him up four spots on the leaderboard as well, as he finished in a tie for 35^th overall.

Clark was tied for third in the tournament on Par 5 holes, averaging 4.33 strokes per hole in the tournament, finishing six-under par in three rounds. He was also tied for eighth in the tournament with 11 birdies overall.

Junior Zac Moore finished the tournament in a tie for 49^th overall with a 79 on Tuesday. He closed out his first trip to Barry as a Wildcat with a 76-73-79 for a three-round score of 228 (+15). Moore finished the tournament tied for 18^th overall with nine birdies in the three rounds.

Senior Miguel Siercke was the third best finisher for the Wildcats, placing in a tie for 52^nd overall. Siercke shot a 76 on Tuesday to close out his tournament with a 75-78-76 for a two-day score of 229 (+16).

Freshman Braden McKay shot a personal best 75 for the week, finishing strong to move up three spots on the leaderboard. McKay shot a 79-85-75 for a 239 (+26).

Sophomore Ryan Rucinski posted an 83 on Tuesday to close out his tournament with a 77-80-83 for a 240 (+27). He finished 81^st overall.

Nationally third ranked and host Barry won the tournament by 12 strokes, shooting a 845 (-7) as a team. Fourth ranked Nova Southeastern finished second with an 857 (+7) while No. 11 Florida Tech came back to finish third overall with an 864 (+12).

Barry's Niclas Weilanded post a third round 66 to make up a seven-shot deficit after the first two rounds. He shot a 72-68-66 for a 206 (-7), jumping Nova Southeastern's Juan Jose Guerra who shot a 74 on Tuesday to lose by one stroke. He posted a 73-60-74 for a 207 (-6). Florida Southern's John VanDerLaan finished third overall with a 209 (-4).

The Wildcats have one final tournament to pre for the postseason, as they will compete at the St. Thomas Aquinas College Spring Invitational on Monday, April 10. They will head to Rum Pointe Golf Course in Berlin, Md., in their final regular season action.
