Logan Stinson Named Men’s Lacrosse’s First USA Lacrosse Magazine Honorable Mention All-American

NEWARK, Del. - - Another first for the Wilmington University men's lacrosse program in the spring of 2022, as sophomore attack Logan Stinson has been named a USA Lacrosse Magazine Division II All-American Honorable Mention.

Logan Stinson (Lafayette, La./St. Thomas More) led the team and tied for the CACC lead with 70 points this season, even after missing the first two games of the season. He finished fourth in the league with 45 goals and fifth in the CACC with 25 assists. He averaged 5.38 points per game, ranking fifth in all of NCAA DII while his 4.36 goals per game is ninth overall as well.

He helped lead the Wildcats to its first CACC Regular Season Championship with a perfect 6-0 record and a spot in the CACC Tournament Championship game for the second year in a row. The Wildcats narrowly missed the NCAA North Regional Tournament after finishing a program best 11-4 overall.

After a late start to the season due to an injury, Stinson came on for the third game of the year and produced five or more points in 10 of his 13 games. He had a season high eight points in the semifinals of the CACC Tournament, scoring four goals and adding four assists. He also had seven points twice, including a four-goal, three-assist performance in a win over nationally ranked No. 12 Saint Anselm. He had a season's best seven goals at Lake Erie, a 15-10 victory.

Stinson is the program's all-time leader in goals with 84, second all-time with 46 assists, and holds the program lead with 130 career points.
