Men’s Lacrosse Wins CACC Regular Season Title with 22-2 Win at Felician

RUTHERFORD, N.J. - - For the second year in a row and the third time overall, the Wilmington University men's lacrosse team is the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Regular Season Champions, defeating Felician, 22-2, on Friday at Tryon Field.

The Wildcats have now gone undefeated in the CACC regular season in the 2022, 2024 and 2025 seasons, winning the CACC Regular Season Title. Friday was their 20th consecutive CACC regular season victory.

Friday's game started with the Wildcats (10-3, 8-0 CACC) scoring the first 10 goals through a quarter and a half. They scored seven goals in the first quarter to jump all over the Golden Falcons (4-9, 2-6 CACC). Six different Wildcats scored in the first quarter with Josh Lovely being the only one to scored twice, the final two goals of the quarter.

Josh Weston sandwiched goals around an Andrew Dzubak goal to start the second quarter and the Wildcats led 10-0 with 7:15 left before the halftime break. Felician got on the board with 5:21 to play and then Dzubak made it an 11-1 game at the break.

Three different Wildcats scored in a 4-0 third quarter, pushing the lead out to 15-1. Dzubak scored two more while Jon Gaglione and Kyle Parker got in the scoring column as well.

Felician scored their second goal to start the fourth quarter but then the Wildcats finished out the scoring with the final seven goals of the game. Nathan Liederman, Cole Hamberger, and Gavin Paraschak all scored their first goals of the game in the fourth quarter.

Andrew Dzubak led the Wildcats with five goals and three assists while Josh Weston scored four goals and two assists. Josh Lovely finished with a hat trick while Gavin Paraschak had a goal and a team high four assists. Connor Widmer went 10-for-11 on face-offs while Daniel Flynn made 13 saves in 40 minutes. Quinn Tracy led with three caused turnovers while Tyler Quinn scooped up five ground balls.

The Wildcats will host a CACC Tournament Semifinal game on Wednesday, April 30. They await the winner of the First Round matchup between No. 4 Post and No. 5 Bridgeport being played on Monday. The semifinal game on Wednesday will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the WU Athletics Complex.
