Wilmington Men’s Soccer Teams with Team Wilson for the 2013 Wilmington Kidney Walk

WILMINGTON, Del. - - The Wilmington University men's soccer team, along with other members of the Wilmington University family, joined forces and participated in the 2013 Wilmington Kidney Walk along the Wilmington Riverfront on October 13.

The Wildcats teamed up with Team Wilson to raise nearly $5,000 for the National Kidney Foundation. Team Wilson/Wilmington University raised the second most donations, including the corporate teams.

The National Kidney Foundation, a major voluntary nonprofit health organization, is dedicated to preventing kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by kidney disease and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation.

The Walk Website will be open and accepting donations until the end of the 2013 calendar year. To donate to the Wilmington Kidney Walk, visit its website here.
