2019 Season: 2019 New Balance/NFCA Golden Shoe Award - First Team NFCA All-American - Second Team D2CCA All-American - Second Team Fastpitch News All-American - First Team NFCA All-East Region - First Team D2CCA All-East Region - CACC All-Tournament Team - CACC Player of the Year - First Team All-CACC - CACC Player of the Week (4/15; 4/22) – appeared and started in 50 games her junior year – first on the team, the CACC, and fifth overall in NCAA Division II with a batting average of .517 – had the highest batting average in a season in program history – led the team with 176 at bats – broke her own record of hits in a season in program history with 91, while leading the CACC and finishing fifth in all NCAA Division II – finished with five doubles, five triples, and one homerun with 26 RBI – had the highest slugging percentage on the team with .619 and on base percentage of .543 – walked 11 times – made 112 putouts  with a fielding percentage of .974 – went a perfect 60-60 in stolen bases, which was first in the CACC and all of NCAA Division II, while breaking the program record – finished with 109 total bases – second on the team with 61 runs scored – went 5-6 with three RBI and two runs scored in 9-8 win over West Chester on March 26 – went 4-4 twice, first against Pace with three stolen bases on March 17 and again on April 13 against Caldwell with one homerun, three RBI, three stolen bases, and three runs scored – went 11 straight games with at least one stolen base – had seven games with three stolen bases – had the longest hitting streak in program history lasting 29 games – fifth all-time in program history with 551 career at bats – first all-time in program history with 174 career runs scored – first all-time in program history with 266 career hits – eighth all-time in program history with 27 career doubles – first all-time in program history with 19 career triples – ninth all-time in program history with 82 career RBI – first all-time in program history with a career batting average of .483 – first all-time in program history with 349 career total bases – first all-time in program history with a career slugging percentage of .633 – first all-time in program history with a .522 career on base percentage – first all-time in program history with 147 career stolen bases – sixth all-time in program history with 46 career walks.

2018 Season: Fastpitch News Second Team All-American - D2CCA All-American Honorable Mention - First Team D2CCA All-East Region - First Team All-CACC - Schutt Sports/NFCA Division II Softball National Player of the Year Top 25 Finalist - CACC Co-Player of the Week (2/19; 3/19) – appeared in and started in 53 games as a sophomore - led the Wildcats and finished second in the CACC with a .470 batting average hitting 10 doubles, seven triples, and four homeruns for a total of 87 hits on the season - finished first on the team scoring 56 runs and first overall with a .665 slugging percentage – led the CACC in stolen bases with 42 on the year, while having been walked 20 times - she finished the season with a .527 on base percentage – had a double and a triple in the Wildcats 4-1 win at Goldey-Beacom on April 5 – had a double and a homerun in 5-3 win against Post on April 28 – had eight games with two RBI - is now first in program history with 14 career triples, while also taking the top spot in stolen bases with 87 in her career - is currently fourth all-time in program history with 175 hits in her career to go along with a .640 career slugging percentage, ranking her first all-time in program history - third all-time in program history with 113 runs scored in her career, while ranking fourth in program history with 240 total bases in her career.

2017 Season: Schutt Sports/NFCA Division II Softball National Freshman of the Year Finalist – Second Team NFCA All-American – First Team D2CCA All-East Region – First Team NFCA All-East Region – First Team All-CACC – CACC Rookie of the Year – CACC Rookie of the Week (4/10; 4/24; 5/1) – CACC Co-Player of the Week (2/21) – CACC Co-Rookie of the Week (2/21) – started and appeared in 56 games – led the team and was second in the CACC with a .463 batting average – set single season program records with 88 hits, 57 runs, seven triples, 117 total bases, and 45 stolen bases – led the CACC and top five in NCAA Division II with 45 stolen bases – hit 12 doubles with seven triples, and a home run, collecting 29 RBI - .500 on-base percentage - .616 slugging percentage – hit two triples against Findlay on March 7 – hit lone home run of the year against Shippensburg on April 23 – had four four-hit games as a freshman – hit two doubles against Shippensburg on February 18.

High School: Four year letterwinner at Caesar Rodney High School as an infielder – played for Skye Boris, former Wildcat softball player and head coach Mike Shehorn’s daughter – named Henlopen Conference First Team as a third baseman – named First Team All-State as a third baseman – also played 10 years with Delaware Express Fastpitch Softball – also played basketball at Caesar Rodney

Personal: Rosa’Lynn “Missy” Artinia Burton – daughter of Robert and Terri Burton – the youngest of four siblings, Dartan Smith, Shane Letthand, and Jalissia Johnson Tiggs – majoring in environmental science and policy at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a environmental biologist – from Dover, Del. – favorite athlete is Kevin Durant – also enjoys kayaking - if she could date a celebrity, she would date Quando Rondo - considers her dad her hero because conquered cancer and is still doing big things – the greatest piece of advice she’s received is, “Be the best you” – her most memorable sports moment was winning the 2019 CACC Conference Championship.
